New Quality Rules @ Your-Story.org – Free Press Releases, Value-Add and ROI

Over at Your-Story.org, our market leading free press release distribution service, we’re always looking for ways to improve things for the receiver of press releases.

While many press release websites are geared up to encourage – and then charge – the issuers of press releases (i.e. companies, PR firms, communications agencies), Your-Story.org takes a different approach entirely: we spend most of our energy on improving the quality of press releases and suite of services for the receiver of press releases.

For this reason, we have, since day one, performed human moderation on each and every press release submitted to Your-Story.org, and shall continue to do so forever – even though the vast majority of press releases submitted to Your-Story.rg are contributed for no fee.

This week, Your-Story.org has undergone a vast press release audit, and user audit, which has resulted in:

  • several new quality rules;
  • the removal of over 700 press releases which had been published on the site;
  • the deletion of over 10,000 stale or spam user accounts.
